Trump: Tubman $20 “pure political correctness”

Written by Teunis Felter

Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Thursday he did not believe President Andrew Jackson should replaced on the $20 bill by Harriet Tubman and suggested another denomination be created for the anti-slavery crusader. “I think it’s pure political correctness,” Trump said on  NBC’s “Today” show when asked about the Treasury Department’s decision to make Tubman the first African-American on the face of U.S. paper currency.
