Los Angeles Angels pitcher Matt Shoemaker was involved in a scary moment during Sunday’s game against the Mariners in Seattle when he took a line drive to the head. During the second inning, Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager lined a pitch right back at Shoemaker and struck the pitcher on the side of his head. The ball was traveling at an approximate speed of 105 MPH, according to MLB’s StatCast.
