It appears that China’s new KHL team is still working out the kinks when it comes to the sport’s pregame traditions. The Kunlun Red Star hockey club invited a fancy, seemingly important man in a suit to perform the ceremonial puck drop prior to a game this week. It did not go as smoothly as they had planned and the result was one of the most awkward pregame face-offs you’ll ever see. In fact, it’s too awkward and uncomfortable to describe, so just go ahead and watch it yourself.
