Are we on the brink of a second Korean War?

The United States has deployed the USS Carl Vinson strike group to Korean waters. In response, Han Song Ryol, the North Korean vice-minister of foreign affairs, said on Friday: “We’ve got a powerful nuclear deterrent already in our hands, and we certainly will not keep our arms crossed in the face of a US pre-emptive strike.” So are we on the brink of the Second Korean War, if not World War III?
